Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Medical Secretary to provide administrative and secretarial support to Consultants and teams within NHS Fife.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial services to Consultants and teams.
- Utilize excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Develop and maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring confidentiality and data protection.
- Collaborate with teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with NHS policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven secretarial and administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Competent audio typing skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with NHS systems and processes, with a focus on waiting times and patient flow.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and motivated approach.
- English language competency and communication skills necessary to perform the role safely and effectively.
