Position Overview:

The Commercial division at Barratt Developments is dedicated to efficient construction practices, encompassing roles such as quantity surveying, cost estimation, procurement, and material sourcing. Our mission is to provide exceptional residential properties while optimizing costs, ensuring quality materials, and prioritizing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Commercial Director/Manager in executing administrative functions effectively
  • Conduct general administrative duties within the department as required
  • Organize and maintain filing systems and databases
  • Facilitate communication with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee and track departmental expenditures
  • Ensure timely processing of documentation
  • Deliver additional administrative support as necessary
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in an administrative or secretarial capacity
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and written communication
  • Capability to draft professional correspondence independently
  • Effective time management and multitasking abilities
  • Collaborative team player with outstanding communication skills
  • Professional demeanor when interacting with internal and external clients
  • Exemplary telephone communication skills
