Digital Insights Analyst - Media Owner - £32,000

Company Overview

Join a prominent player in the UK publishing sector, recognized for its esteemed brands and commitment to delivering timely, accurate content and news nationwide. This role is pivotal in enhancing the Publisher's digital presence and driving impactful results across the organization. You will be instrumental in leveraging data and business intelligence tools to provide valuable insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders, particularly focusing on editorial and newsroom analytics.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Editorial/Content, and cross-functional data and analytics teams

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver regular insights to the content team utilizing various data sources, especially first-party traffic, social media, SEO, and video analytics.
  • Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports on website performance, including post-event analysis for significant traffic-driving events.
  • Ensure that analysis and actionable insights align with business objectives while proactively identifying publishing trends, opportunities, efficiencies, and supporting the evolving landscape of digital content publishing.
  • Conduct A/B testing to analyze user behavior and present findings.
  • Establish KPI frameworks and develop dashboards for performance tracking.

Candidate Profile

  • Proficient in dashboarding and visualization tools (PowerBi, Tableau, GDS, etc.)
  • Experience with Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in digital or content analytics
