About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Functional Skills Tutor to join our team at Education for Industry Training. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing Functional Skills Level 2 qualifications to our apprentices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to apprentices in a classroom and workplace-based setting
  • Develop and implement lesson plans, resources, and assessments to meet the needs of our learners
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to apprentices to ensure they achieve their qualifications
  • Contribute to the development of our training programs and materials
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective training delivery

Requirements

  • Possession of a teaching qualification (Cert Ed, DET, or PGCE) or equivalent
  • A Level 2 qualification in Maths and English or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Functional Skills National Curriculum requirements and experience in delivering a learner-centred approach curriculum
  • Experience in teaching and assessing learners at various levels of learning
