Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accountancy Apprenticeship Tutor to join our team. As an Accountancy Apprenticeship Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, guidance, and support to apprentices enrolled in the accountancy apprenticeship program.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching and Learning
- Prepare and deliver high-quality teaching and learning materials to support the accountancy apprenticeship program.
- Deliver Functional Skills qualifications as part of the apprenticeship program.
- Assess learner's performance in the workplace and provide feedback to improve their skills.
- Coaching and Mentoring
- Provide one-to-one coaching and mentoring to apprentices to support their learning and development.
- Work with employers to maintain engagement and curriculum sequencing.
- Carry out regular progress reviews with learners to track their progress towards timely completions.
- Administrative and Compliance
- Comply with internal quality assurance strategies to ensure assessments are delivered to a high standard.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of learner progress and assessment results.
Requirements
- Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified in and able to deliver AAT qualifications up to level 3.
- TAQA / CAVA or equivalent assessing work-based learning qualification.
- Maths & English (or equivalent).
- AAT qualification at level 3.
- Proven experience in managing the full apprenticeship learner journey.
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
