Position Overview: The University of South Wales is seeking a dedicated Registry Assistant to enhance the operations within the Academic Registry. This pivotal role supports a vibrant department responsible for a variety of essential administrative and informational services for students, spanning from enrollment through to graduation.

Departmental Focus: The successful candidate will be integrated into the Quality and Academic Services (QAS) - Assessment Team, contributing to various operational areas, including:

  • Management of Examinations
  • Oversight of Assessment administration processes and services, including the dissemination of results
  • Coordination of Graduation ceremonies
  • Production and distribution of Certificates and transcripts
  • Support for Past student services

This role requires collaboration with colleagues to ensure the effective delivery of services to students, faculties, and external partners.

Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be a proactive team player, and have experience in administrative service delivery. A willingness to learn and adapt is essential. Strong organizational skills are required to prioritize tasks effectively and meet critical deadlines. Proficiency in IT and the ability to create clear and concise summaries of discussions are also necessary.

Work Environment: The University currently employs a hybrid working model. The primary location for this role will be at the University of South Wales' Pontypridd campus, with potential requirements to work across other campuses and remotely.
