The Opportunity: Health and Social Care Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Health and Social Care Teacher to join our dynamic department. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals and social workers within a school with a strong academic record.

Your Role:
  • Teach Health and Social Care at GCSE or A-Level (please specify in your application).
  • Design and deliver engaging lessons that explore vital social issues, healthcare systems, and personal development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel encouraged to participate and reach their full potential.
  • Play a key role in developing and delivering a rigorous and relevant Health and Social Care curriculum.

Who We Are Looking For:
  • A qualified Health and Social Care Teacher (QTS) with a passion for inspiring young people.
  • Experience teaching Health and Social Care at the specified level is preferred, but we welcome applications from enthusiastic Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT) as well.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • A commitment to fostering critical thinking skills and a passion for social justice.
  • The ability to create a safe and inclusive learning environment for students to explore sensitive topics.
