The Opportunity: Health and Social Care Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Health and Social Care Teacher to join our dynamic department. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals and social workers while contributing to a school with a strong focus on student success.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Teach Health and Social Care at GCSE or A-Level, tailoring your lessons to meet the diverse needs of our students.
  • Design and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that explore vital social issues, healthcare systems, and personal development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel encouraged to participate and reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver a rigorous and relevant Health and Social Care curriculum.
Who We Are Looking For:
  • A qualified Health and Social Care Teacher (QTS) with a genuine passion for inspiring young people.
  • Experience teaching Health and Social Care at the specified level is preferred, but we welcome applications from enthusiastic Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • A commitment to fostering critical thinking skills, social justice, and cultural awareness.
  • The ability to create a safe and inclusive learning environment for students to explore sensitive topics.
