About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children and Young People Practitioner to join our team at Young Futures. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in supporting the health, education, and well-being of young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each young person
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes emotional and psychological well-being
  • Support young people in their daily lives, including education, social activities, and personal development
  • Work closely with external agencies to ensure seamless care and support
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Experience working with children and young people in a care or support setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
