About the Role: Waking Night Support Worker
We are seeking a compassionate and resilient individual to join our Mental Health service as a Waking Night Support Worker. This role is focused on supporting young adults (aged 18-25) who may have experienced mental health challenges, helping them develop skills for independent living.
Your Responsibilities:
- Build trusting relationships with young people and foster a positive atmosphere within the service.
- Collaborate with the team to manage caseloads, administrative tasks, and ensure smooth service operations.
- Conduct engaging key work sessions to help young adults achieve their goals outlined in their Support Plans.
- Work collaboratively with young people to assess and manage risks, promoting a culture of positive risk-taking.
- Provide practical support with daily living activities, such as budgeting, cooking, and establishing healthy routines.
- Assist young adults in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment within their accommodation.
- Contribute to incident reporting and documentation processes.
- Develop strong partnerships with other professionals involved in the young adults' care.
