Job Overview

Position: Team Leader - Single Point of Access

The Team Leader for the Single Point of Access will oversee the daily operations of the team, while also engaging with partners to enhance our collaborative efforts and deepen the understanding of the Single Point of Access framework.

Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will be an experienced manager with a social work qualification, reporting directly to the Deputy Head of Service. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing management oversight and supervision to various team members, including Social Workers, Contact Information Officers, and Business Support Officers.
  • Driving performance and ensuring timely decision-making at the initial point of contact.
  • Participating in the out-of-hours Emergency Duty Manager rota as required.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree-level education along with a relevant professional qualification in social work.
  • A postgraduate qualification in a related field, such as social work, leadership, or management.
  • Active registration with Social Work England and demonstrable evidence of ongoing professional development.
