About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management PMO Lead to join our team at Kier Group. As a key member of our Natural Resources team, you will be responsible for providing strategic planning, project governance, and support to the design and build activity of our new 7-year, c£1bn framework with Southern Water.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure the successful delivery of projects across the Southern Water portfolio.
  • Project Governance: Establish and maintain effective project governance structures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources across projects based on priorities, schedules, budgets, and other factors.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance project efficiency and productivity.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely documentation and reporting of project progress and performance.
Requirements
  • Senior Specialist: You will be a senior specialist with significant experience in project management and governance.
  • Industry Expertise: You will hold a degree related to the industry within regulated utilities, infrastructure, or the built environment sector.
  • Professional Qualifications: You will hold Chartered Status in a relevant professional body or an appropriate professional qualification.
  • Contractual and Commercial Awareness: You will have excellent NEC3/NEC4 contractual and commercial awareness.
