Contract: Permanent, Full Time – flexible working arrangements may be considered.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior PMO Project Manager, your role will encompass strategic planning, governance, and support for a diverse range of projects within the Southern Water portfolio, focusing on non-infrastructure, water, and wastewater initiatives.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with clients to ensure their requirements are fulfilled.
- Developing and managing a centralized project management hub to enhance efficiency across various projects.
- Implementing standardized project execution methods to optimize productivity.
- Coordinating resource allocation across projects, considering priorities, timelines, and budgets.
- Facilitating project planning, analyzing financial data, refining processes, and ensuring comprehensive documentation for all managed projects.
Qualifications
This Senior PMO Project Manager position is ideal for candidates who:
- Possess significant experience in overseeing major program components.
- Hold a relevant degree in regulated utilities, infrastructure, or the built environment sector.
- Have achieved Chartered Status in a pertinent professional organization or possess an equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts and commercial principles.
