Job Overview

Southern Water is seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager to spearhead the delivery of high-profile projects and programs that shape the future of wastewater services and Capital Delivery.

This is a unique opportunity to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage complex projects, and ensure that Southern Water continues to provide reliable and sustainable services to millions of customers.

Responsibilities

  • Project Oversight: Plan, direct, and manage design and construction programs to achieve business goals within schedule and budget.
  • Team Leadership: Provide direction and motivation to a team of professionals, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Risk Management: Implement and oversee risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues and ensure project success.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including customers, operations, and delivery partners, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Financial & Performance Reporting: Monitor project performance, and financial forecasting, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

About You

  • Experience: Extensive experience in infrastructure program and project delivery, particularly in the water or utilities industry.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams, with strong delegation and problem-solving skills.
  • Qualifications: Degree in Science, Engineering, or Management (or equivalent experience). Chartered status or working towards it is highly desirable.

Package

This role will be full-time Monday to Friday, 37 hours a week. We are offering a salary of up to £75,000 per annum depending on skills and experience, as well as other benefits including company and performance-related bonus, generous pension, 25 days annual leave, and more.
