We are seeking a Senior PMO Project Manager to oversee our Natural Resources division. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for strategic oversight, project governance, and facilitating the design and construction phases of our extensive framework with Southern Water.

Location: East Sussex

Contract: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part-time options may be available upon request.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Lead Project Management Officer, your role will encompass strategic planning, governance, and support for the design and execution of various non-infrastructure, water, and wastewater projects.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with clients to ensure their requirements are fulfilled.
  • Developing and managing a centralized project management hub to enhance efficiency across multiple projects.
  • Standardizing project execution to optimize productivity.
  • Coordinating resource allocation across projects based on priorities, timelines, and budgets.
  • Facilitating project planning, analyzing financial data, refining processes, and ensuring thorough documentation for all managed projects.

Qualifications:

This Strategic PMO Project Lead position is ideal for candidates who:

  • Are seasoned professionals responsible for managing significant components of a program.
  • Possess a degree relevant to the regulated utilities, infrastructure, or built environment sectors.
  • Hold Chartered Status in a pertinent professional organization or possess an equivalent qualification.
  • Exhibit strong awareness of NEC3/NEC4 contracts and commercial practices.
