MWH Treatment is seeking to enhance its operational team with a MEICA Manager for our CMDP joint venture framework. This role involves comprehensive oversight of MEICA delivery, collaborating closely with the operational and delivery teams.
The CMDP initiative represents a partnership between Costain and MWH Treatment, focused on executing projects valued at over £300 million across AMP7. This framework aims to implement various schemes that will sustain and enhance the water supply and wastewater treatment facilities in the eastern regions.
As a MEICA Manager, you will report directly to the Senior Project Manager, and your responsibilities will encompass:
- Complete lifecycle accountability for MEICA quality and uniformity, from the identification of project needs to the commissioning phase.
- Design Phase Responsibilities:
- Outline Design: Provide guiding standards for project engineers to facilitate early MEICA contributions to design development.
- Detailed Design: Establish a consistent methodology for reviewing supply chain submissions.
- Collaborate with Heads of Design to assess the quality, timeliness, and consistency of design outputs, fostering relationships with designers and suppliers to enhance delivery.
- Assist Programme Managers with resource allocation, addressing key MEICA issues as they arise, and overseeing MEICA construction challenges and quality assurance.
- Work alongside Programme Managers, Procurement Managers, and Operations Leads to formulate a comprehensive MEICA procurement strategy.
- Management of Project Engineers and M&E Supervisors across the framework.
- Regular meetings with regional delivery leads to ensure consistent MEICA execution.
- Ensure compliance with National and Local Technical Standards for all projects.
- Conduct regular reviews with MEICA teams to assess performance and implement processes that foster excellence across all projects.
- Provide consistent progress updates to senior management and stakeholders, emphasizing key milestones, risks, and challenges.
- Identify potential risks associated with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation systems.
- Meticulous planning of the Southern Water SCO procedure to uphold site compliance, including chairing meetings to demonstrate risk assessment and mitigation.
- Thorough understanding of MEICA subcontractor contract conditions and associated risks.
- Ensure all projects achieve zero health, safety, and environmental incidents, demonstrating a commitment to CMDP Health, Safety & Welfare, and Environmental Policies.
- Innovate and implement effective processes to guarantee consistent project delivery.
