About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Outreach Specialist to join our team at Reed in Partnership. As an Engagement Officer, you will play a key role in raising awareness and promoting our programs within the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Marketing: Sell our programs and services to partners and potential participants, explaining the service offering, rights, and responsibilities.
  • Event Promotion: Promote brand exposure and services at regional events and meetings.
  • Referral Development: Seek out and maximize referral sources and repeat business.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Co-ordinate partners' activities and ensure stakeholder engagement.
  • Needs Assessment: Conduct initial assessments to understand participants' needs and barriers and how Reed in Partnership can support them.
  • Intervention Planning: Identify appropriate solutions and interventions for participants.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with relevant partners to assist with barriers to employment.

Requirements
  • Experience: Experience of working with a wide range of individuals, managing different needs, and selling or promoting a service or product.
  • Communication Skills: Confident communicator, ability to build rapport with a range of stakeholders.
  • Community Experience: Experience working in the community, fundraising, sales, or in a people-facing role.
  • Targeted Environment: Experience working in a targeted environment.
  • Interest in People: Interest in people and willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel locally.
  • Education: A minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma and GCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade B (or equivalent Level 2 qualification).
