Position Overview: As a Culinary Specialist at HC-One, your primary focus will be on demonstrating compassion and care in every aspect of your work. You will play a vital role in our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes, ensuring that our Residents feel valued and respected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve nutritious and appealing meals that cater to the diverse cultural preferences and dietary needs of our Residents.
- Manage food inventory and budget effectively while maintaining high standards of nutrition and safety.
- Collaborate with central support teams to ensure compliance with nutrition standards.
- Exhibit excellent organizational skills to meet service times and adapt to changing priorities.
- Communicate with Residents and colleagues in a considerate and kind manner.
Qualifications:
- Possess an S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery.
- Hold a minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Have a solid understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP).
- Bring a positive attitude and the ability to work well with others.
