About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated nurse to lead our Children's Epilepsy Nurse Team. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will work closely with our team of paediatric neurologists and paediatricians to provide a seamless, quality service to children with epilepsy.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist nursing advice and support to patients and families throughout their care pathway.
  • Work closely with the Neuroscience multidisciplinary team in hospital and the community to ensure a coordinated quality service.
  • Be actively involved in education, audit, and research to improve the quality and service for patients.

Person Specification
  • Be able to speak fluent English to an appropriate standard.
  • Supportive, respectful, innovative, and collaborative.
  • RN Child or RN Adult with relevant Children's qualification, current NMC Registration, and relevant accredited post-registration qualification at level 3.
  • Degree or equivalent in a related health topic or willingness to work towards.
