Job Title: Paediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist - Epilepsy

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong background in paediatric nursing and a passion for delivering high-quality care to children with epilepsy.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing specialist nursing care to children with epilepsy. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of care plans, providing education and support to families, and working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of care plans for children with epilepsy
  • Provide education and support to families and carers
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to paediatric epilepsy care
  • Participate in research and audit projects to improve care and outcomes for children with epilepsy
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with a background in paediatric nursing
  • Experience in caring for children with epilepsy
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality care and improving patient outcomes
