Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team at Reed. As an HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire employee lifecycle, managing all activities across Employee Relations, Performance, Talent Development, Recruitment, System Implementation, and various HR Projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners, providing guidance on policies and procedures.
  • HR Administration: Manage various HR documents and internal databases, including holiday and sick leave, contracts, and staff training records.
  • Recruitment: Assist in the recruitment process by coordinating job postings, reviewing CVs, performing reference checks, and issuing employment contracts.
  • Onboarding: Implement effective onboarding plans and conduct new employee orientations, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
  • HR Initiatives: Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems, driving business growth and improvement.
  • Counselling: Provide counselling on policies and procedures to staff, ensuring compliance with employment law and best practices.
  • HR Projects: Be actively involved in HR projects, such as gathering data for salary reviews and job evaluations, and administering HR-related documentation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or relevant human resources position.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • CIPD qualification or working towards it is desirable.
