Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned executive to join our leadership team as Chief People Officer. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our organization and drive business success through strategic people leadership.

As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with our business objectives. This will involve leading our people team, defining our employee experience, and embedding right-sized processes to drive growth and innovation.

Key responsibilities will include:

Strategic People Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a people strategy that drives business results
  • Lead and grow our people team to deliver exceptional results
  • Own the people budget and ensure effective use of resources
  • Define our employee experience and develop policies, procedures, and programs that deliver on it

Talent Acquisition and Management:

  • Oversee our talent acquisition function to attract and retain top talent
  • Implement strategies to drive employee engagement and retention
  • Develop and implement effective hiring processes to meet business needs

Employee Engagement and Development:

  • Lead the design and implementation of development and training programs to drive employee growth
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development
  • Measure and optimize employee engagement to drive business results

Performance Management:

  • Establish a consistent and effective performance evaluation process
  • Drive a culture of continuous feedback and performance improvement
  • Implement a rewards and recognition program that aligns with our values

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Implement a pay review process that aligns with our values
  • Design and implement compensation programs and benefits that drive employee engagement
  • Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):

  • Champion DEI initiatives and integrate them into all functions
  • Develop and track metrics to measure DEI progress and impact
  • Promote a culture of belonging and fairness for all employees

Employee Relations and Compliance:

  • Promote effective employee relations and conflict resolution
  • Ensure HR policies and practices are in compliance with relevant labor laws
  • Address employee concerns and provide guidance on HR-related matters

Requirements:

  • Extensive people and culture leadership experience in a fast-paced SaaS business
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful people strategies
  • Exceptional leadership skills with ability to develop those skills in others
  • Experience in building and owning people strategies from the ground up
