Job Title: Academic Engagement Manager

At abrdn plc, we're committed to delivering exceptional investment solutions to our clients worldwide. As an Academic Engagement Manager, you'll play a vital role in building and maintaining relationships with our most important EMEA Institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop day-to-day relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve issues and escalate potential risks.
  • Oversee the implementation of client-specific reporting, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Assist with the collation of AML/KYC/CDD documentation, challenging requirements where necessary to minimize client impact.
  • Represent the voice of the client on company-driven projects, ensuring effective implementation doesn't compromise the client service experience.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in institutional client service and/or relationship management, with experience dealing with institutional clients invested in segregated mandates.
  • Notable experience of client servicing environments within Financial Services.
  • Understanding of segregated and pooled account structures and client relationships.
  • Experience of Salesforce and MS Office applications.
