About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Engagement Specialist to join our team at Legal & General Group. As a key member of our investment management team, you will be responsible for providing high-level technical support to our clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their decision-making processes and long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and support to clients, including LGIM products, brand, services, and competitors in the market.
  • Oversee and assist with the production of legal documentation, reports, and client-specific data relevant to the clients' investment strategy.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external clients and contacts, up to and including senior levels.
  • Manage workflows and prioritize tasks to ensure timely delivery of high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Strong academic background, degree qualified (preferably 2:1 or higher).
  • Experience within the investment management industry or financial services, with a proven track record of dealing with external clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong workflow management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Experience working with pension clients and a deep understanding of the investment management industry.
