Youth Justice Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Youth Justice Officer to join our team at the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. As a key member of our Youth Offending Team, you will play a vital role in delivering child-first support to vulnerable children and young people who come into contact with the youth justice system.
Your primary responsibility will be to supervise children and young people assigned to you, working closely with their families using systemic approaches. You will also collaborate with partner agencies to deliver services and carry out accurate, effective assessments. Your expertise will be invaluable in providing advocacy and interventions that can prevent both offending and reoffending.
About YouWe are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in youth offending, social work, or a related field. You should have a recognized and relevant qualification in social work or probation and be open to practice in a relational, systemic, and trauma-informed approach. Excellent communication and partnership-building skills are essential, as well as the ability to design and deliver intervention plans and write accurate assessments.
