Youth Justice Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Youth Justice Officer to join our team at the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. As a key member of our Youth Offending Team, you will play a vital role in delivering child-first support to vulnerable children and young people who come into contact with the youth justice system.
Your primary responsibility will be to supervise children and young people assigned to you, working closely with their families using systemic approaches. You will also collaborate with partner agencies to deliver services and carry out accurate, effective assessments. Your expertise will be invaluable in providing advocacy and interventions that can prevent both offending and reoffending.
About the TeamOur Youth Offending Team is a multi-disciplinary team that is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young people. We are a dynamic and supportive team that values collaboration, creativity, and a commitment to excellence. As a Youth Justice Officer, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of young people, each with their own unique needs and challenges.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with young people, has a strong understanding of the youth justice system, and is able to design and deliver effective intervention plans. You will need to be well-organised, an excellent communicator, and adept at building partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders.
