The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Reservation Coordinator to join our team and assist with managing reservations for our hotel. The Reservation Coordinator will be responsible for processing reservations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of all reservations and cancellations.

Responsibilities:

  • Process reservations using the hotel's reservation management system.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times.
  • Liaise with other departments, such as housekeeping and the front desk, to ensure a coordinated approach to reservations.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of all reservations and cancellations are maintained.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Upsell hotel services and amenities to customers.
  • Prepare reports on reservations and revenue as required.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and developments.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • A good understanding of reservation management systems.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • The ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends if required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
