Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Reservationist to join our team at The Queen at Chester Hotel, Premier Collection By Best Western. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for managing reservations, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reservation Management: Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Communication: Liaise with other departments, such as housekeeping and the front desk, to ensure a coordinated approach to reservations and guest services.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all reservations and cancellations.
  • Upselling and Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities to upsell hotel services and amenities to guests, contributing to revenue growth and hotel profitability.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on reservations and revenue as required, providing insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple reservations and tasks simultaneously.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends if required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel reservation management systems.
