Epidemiology Research Specialist

The role of the Epidemiology Research Specialist is pivotal within Airfinity, collaborating with a dedicated team to generate insights and intelligence for our clients concerning various facets of infectious diseases. This position will concentrate on multiple therapeutic areas, conducting in-depth research and analysis to produce comprehensive weekly reports on infectious disease intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior colleagues to develop weekly written reports on infectious disease intelligence for clients.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of emerging scientific developments across several therapeutic areas.
  • Enhance and annotate scientific data with relevant metrics and impact indicators.
  • Utilize various data visualization tools to present analyses effectively.
  • Deliver insightful findings in meticulously crafted reports.
  • Gain in-depth familiarity with our proprietary life sciences database.

Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise and passion for scientific research.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, including the creation of dashboards and reports.
  • Undergraduate or Master's degree in an epidemiological discipline.
  • Deep interest and expertise in scientific research, particularly within the immunology domain.
  • Solid understanding of infectious diseases and their causative agents.
  • Able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
