About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Field Sales Executive to join our team at Jewson. As a Field Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, lead follow-ups, and customer interactions.
  • Customer Onboarding: Support customers in setting up their new account, ensuring they start and continue to spend with us.
  • Account Reactivation: Target dormant and lapsed accounts to reactivate them and increase sales.
  • Relationship Building: Develop trusted relationships with a portfolio of customers to maintain and improve profitability.
  • Customer Needs Assessment: Acquire a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements, expanding relationships by proposing solutions that meet their needs.
  • Collaboration: Work with all functions and branch teams to ensure all opportunities are leveraged.
  • Health and Safety: Comply with all EHS policies and procedures when on site.

Requirements
  • Full UK Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
  • Strong Sales Skills: Strong direct sales skills and commercial focus.
  • Industry Knowledge: Current knowledge of building materials and the construction market.
  • Customer-Facing Experience: Proven experience in customer-facing business and a proactive sales and customer-focused environment delivering results.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, written, phone, and face-to-face.
