Position: Lead Financial Analyst, Marketing Operations

Department: Financial Planning & Reporting – Global Marketing

Reports to: Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Reporting – Global Marketing

Position Overview:

As a Lead Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the accurate planning, reporting, and analysis of Global Marketing and Overhead expenditures. This position serves as a key liaison between the Business and Accounting departments, facilitating budget processes, managing accounting deliverables, and offering guidance on expenditure classifications and accounting practices. The role demands adaptability, strong communication skills, and exceptional organizational abilities to meet tight deadlines effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews of the Marketing budget
  • Maintaining precise budget trackers for the Marketing team
  • Leading discussions with marketing budget stakeholders
  • Inputting forecasts into planning systems
  • Compiling finance reports with actionable insights
  • Streamlining workflows and processes
  • Providing accounting guidance
  • Coordinating month-end deliverables
  • Assisting with expense analysis and reporting
  • Resolving financial issues and establishing internal orders
  • Completing special projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Finance Analyst
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic office environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Background in management accounting or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant tools
  • Ability to collaborate across global time zones
  • Proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented mindset
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Experience in the digital or gaming sectors is advantageous
