We are in search of empathetic and dedicated healthcare assistants who are committed to delivering exceptional one-on-one care for our service users, fostering positive relationships with them and their families while promoting their independence in a home environment.

About Our Service User

Our service user is a young individual in her teens residing with her supportive family across two welcoming homes.

Both residences are conveniently located near major transport routes, ensuring easy access. She requires dedicated support throughout the night to address her complex care needs.

She enjoys watching Disney films and Strictly Come Dancing, and she loves pampering sessions that include massages and nail painting.

During the night, your responsibilities will include assisting with personal care, repositioning, clinical observations, and addressing any medical needs to ensure a restful night.

She alternates between her two fully adapted homes, and you would be joining a warm, established care team that already supports her and feels like family.

Flexibility Required

Our service user has specifically requested female staff to be part of her care team.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 months prior care experience
  • Proficiency in Personal Care
  • Knowledge of Moving and Handling techniques
  • Experience in Medication Administration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Nebuliser care
  • Familiarity with Ventilation management
  • Knowledge of Gastrostomy feeds (PEG)
  • Understanding of Epilepsy Management

Shift Availability

  • Part-Time Night Shifts: 2 shifts per week
  • Shift Hours: 9:45 PM - 7:45 AM
  • Alternate weekends required for this role

Compensation Overview

  • Weeknight Rate: £13.50 per hour (Approx. per 10-hour shift)
  • Weekend Rate: £14.00 per hour (Approx. £140 per 10-hour shift)
  • Bank Holiday Rate: £16.00 per hour (Approx. £160 per 10-hour shift)
