About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our service users, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to service users, including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and mobility.
  • Assist with complex care needs, such as catheter care and Parkinson's experience, as required.
  • Build positive relationships with service users and their families, promoting a sense of independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • 3 months previous care experience, preferably in a complex care setting.
  • Medication administration training and experience.
  • Personal care and moving and handling skills.
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviors and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Desirable: experience working with catheter care and Parkinson's patients.
