Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team at Oswald House in Lancashire. As a Rehabilitation Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents to achieve their rehabilitation goals and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with residents, based on trust, respect, and open communication.
  • Support residents to undertake their rehabilitation programme, including activities of daily living and personal care.
  • Establish effective methods of communication with residents, reducing barriers and promoting independence.
  • Communicate any issues or concerns to the clinical team, ensuring seamless care coordination.
  • Accurately record and report work activities, maintaining high standards of documentation.

Requirements

  • A genuine interest in providing person-centered care and support.
  • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including with residents, colleagues, and clinical teams.
  • Experience working in the care sector or mental health would be an advantage, but not essential.
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
