Job Description

Job Title: Support Worker - Complex Care Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to service users, including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and mobility.
  • Assist with complex care needs, such as catheter care and Parkinson's disease management.
  • Build positive relationships with service users and their families, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • 3 months previous care experience, preferably in a complex care setting.
  • Medication administration training and experience.
  • Personal care and moving and handling skills.
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviors and work in a fast-paced environment.
