Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Oswald House in Lancashire. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and providing administrative support to our clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and carry out office administrative functions in a professional and confidential manner
  • Manage electronic client files and assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
  • Assist in managing incoming and outgoing post and ensure timely delivery
  • Provide backup and support for general office requirements, including data entry, photocopying, scanning, and printing documents as needed
  • Assist with the secure destruction of documents in line with our archiving policy
  • Create copies of client files, sometimes under a Court Order instruction
  • Ensure office supplies are kept fully stocked and maintain a well-organized office environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Strong organizational, time management, and planning skills
  • Ability to prioritize a busy workload and work well under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
