Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Oswald House in Lancashire. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and providing administrative support to our clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and carry out office administrative functions in a professional and confidential manner
- Manage electronic client files and assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
- Assist in managing incoming and outgoing post and ensure timely delivery
- Provide backup and support for general office requirements, including data entry, photocopying, scanning, and printing documents as needed
- Assist with the secure destruction of documents in line with our archiving policy
- Create copies of client files, sometimes under a Court Order instruction
- Ensure office supplies are kept fully stocked and maintain a well-organized office environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Strong organizational, time management, and planning skills
- Ability to prioritize a busy workload and work well under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
