Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Support Care Specialist to join our compassionate team at Apollo Home Healthcare. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in providing personalized care and support, particularly in complex clinical environments.

Role Summary

The Support Care Specialist will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, individualized care to our service user, fostering a nurturing environment that promotes independence and well-being.

Our service user is a young individual who resides in a supportive family setting. You will be part of a committed care team that values collaboration and a family-like atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
  • Support the service user in engaging with their interests and hobbies.
  • Facilitate social interactions to enhance the service user's quality of life.
  • Assist with clinical care needs as required, ensuring a high standard of care.
  • Work flexibly across different locations to meet the service user's needs.

Work Schedule

We offer various shifts, including:

  • Full-Time Day Shifts: 2-3 shifts per week, 7:45 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Part-Time Night Shifts: 2 shifts per week, 9:45 PM - 7:45 AM
  • Weekend availability is essential for this position.

Compensation

We provide competitive pay rates:

  • Weekdays: Competitive hourly rate
  • Weekends: Enhanced pay for weekend shifts
  • Bank Holidays: Premium rates for holiday shifts
