About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional to work with our community to develop and implement initiatives that promote strong, vibrant neighbourhoods.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with local residents, community groups, and stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns.
- Work with colleagues to design and deliver community engagement initiatives that promote social cohesion and community pride.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support the delivery of our community-focused services.
- Collaborate with other teams to identify and address community issues, and develop solutions that benefit the community.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to resident inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
Applicants should have a strong understanding of community development principles and practices, and be able to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
They should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of the local area and its communities would be an advantage.
