About the Role

As a Housing and Community Officer at Privilege HR, you will play a vital role in supporting residents and neighbourhood stakeholders. Your primary responsibility will be to advise residents on tenancy matters, benefits, and rehousing, ensuring they receive the necessary assistance to sustain their homes.

Main Duties

  • Advise residents on tenancy matters, benefits, and rehousing.
  • Support residents with needs to sustain their homes.
  • Manage voids, lettings, and ensure smooth tenancy transitions.
  • Enforce tenancy agreements, address disputes, and manage arrears.
  • Conduct estate inspections and tenancy audits to maintain high standards.
  • Engage tenants in service delivery and handle complaints effectively.

About You

We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills, proven experience of dealing with the public or providing customer service. Your enthusiasm, drive, and focus on making a difference for people are essential qualities for this role. While experience in a housing management role and knowledge of tenancy law would be an advantage, we expect you to demonstrate excellent planning and organisational skills, and to be literate and numerate to a good standard.
