About the Role

As a Housing and Community Officer with Privilege HR, you will play a vital role in supporting residents and neighbourhood stakeholders on a wide range of issues. Your primary responsibility will be to advise residents on tenancy matters, benefits, and rehousing, ensuring that they receive the necessary support to sustain their homes.

Main Duties

  • Advise residents on tenancy matters, benefits, and rehousing.
  • Support residents with needs to sustain their homes.
  • Manage voids, lettings, and ensure smooth tenancy transitions.
  • Enforce tenancy agreements, address disputes, and manage arrears.
  • Conduct estate inspections and tenancy audits to maintain high standards.
  • Engage tenants in service delivery and handle complaints effectively.

About You

We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills, who has proven experience of dealing with the public or providing customer service. Your enthusiasm, drive, and focus on making a difference for people are exactly what we're looking for. While experience in a housing management role and knowledge of tenancy law would be an advantage, neither is essential.
