Purpose:

The Sourcing team in the UK comprises skilled sourcing professionals specializing in all indirect spend categories for our Clients. This team offers a comprehensive range of sourcing services throughout the entire sourcing lifecycle, tailored to meet specific Client needs, including market analysis, conducting market tenders, contract negotiation, and drafting. Each team member manages multiple Client projects concurrently, engaging in both client-facing and supplier-facing roles, and working on regional as well as global sourcing initiatives. The primary objective of this function is to provide value-driven sourcing services to Clients in a structured, professional, and consistent manner, focusing on indirect spend across IT categories.

The Senior Consultant should be a dynamic, client-centric professional with proven experience across various categories, particularly with in-depth expertise in IT. The ideal candidate will have a track record of collaborating with major suppliers of IT products and services, including software, IT hardware, and IT infrastructure services (such as data centers, networks, and telecommunications). This role involves delivering sourcing initiatives throughout the entire sourcing lifecycle while maintaining a global perspective on market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities will include:

  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Leading assigned sourcing initiatives, ranging from routine renewals to strategic purchases, with minimal oversight
  • Conducting market tenders and overseeing evaluations with a cross-functional team to determine supplier selection
  • Analyzing business requirements and structuring agreements to fulfill those needs
  • Negotiating contracts to secure optimal commercial terms
  • Drafting agreements based on established terms and conditions
  • Leading cross-functional deal teams and collaborating with senior stakeholders
  • Cultivating relationships with key suppliers
  • Staying informed about market trends in assigned categories, using expertise to contribute to sourcing strategies and opportunity assessments
