About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sourcing Specialist to join our team at Classified Jobs. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, leading sourcing initiatives, and negotiating deals to achieve optimal commercial terms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Maintain Relationships

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, clients, and internal teams.

Lead Sourcing Initiatives

Lead assigned sourcing initiatives, including market tenders, supplier selection, and contract negotiation, with minimal oversight required.

Negotiate Deals

Negotiate deals to achieve optimal commercial terms, leveraging market knowledge and expertise to drive maximum value for clients.

Manage Contracts

Draft and manage contracts based on standard terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with corporate standards.

Lead Cross-Functional Teams

Lead cross-functional deal teams and liaise with senior stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Maintain Market Awareness

Maintain market awareness for assigned categories, leveraging experience to contribute to sourcing area plans and opportunity assessments.

Identify Opportunities

Identify and implement opportunities to deliver savings for clients and drive benefits through smarter and more efficient sourcing.

Mentor and Coach

Mentor and coach less experienced team members, supporting them in more complex deals as required.

Requirements
  • Education

Educated to university standard, with a Master's in Procurement and Supply Chain Management (MCIPS) desirable.

Experience

Minimum 10 years' experience in sourcing across specific categories, with proven market knowledge of ITO and BPO.

Skills

Proven capability of running large, complex global deals, including all aspects of the tender process. Highly organized and results-driven, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Contract Management

Experience in understanding contracts and ability to draft and manage contracts with limited requirement for specialist legal support.

Market Leading Tools

Experience in working with market-leading sourcing tools and systems.

Team Player

Professional team player, motivated, and highly flexible.
