In this position, you will work in conjunction with our Talent Acquisition Managers and Senior Director for Talent Acquisition to formulate strategies aimed at identifying underutilized talent. Sourcers are responsible for developing creative and effective methods to discover top candidates, with a strong emphasis on engaging passive talent through a highly involved and diversity-focused approach. The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated history in sourcing, recruiting, and collaborating with business stakeholders to secure top talent for Marriott.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition team to grasp the requirements of the role/search, its function, and its integration within the organization.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to maintain an effective operational model.
  • Devise various strategies to construct talent pipelines and implement tactical research, referral generation, events, and sourcing campaigns.
  • Identify, engage, and activate passive candidates utilizing Boolean searches, LinkedIn, and alternative sourcing techniques.
  • Evaluate resumes and conduct interviews to assess basic qualifications.
  • Regularly monitor pipeline activity to communicate with internal stakeholders.
  • Propose and implement enhancements that positively influence pipelines.
  • Develop and share insights on skills, target companies, conferences, and communities with the Talent Acquisition Team.
  • Innovate and promote diversity sourcing strategies employing various tools to drive influence.
  • Leverage data for reporting and to inform hiring decisions while ensuring data integrity.
  • Oversee all hiring and recruitment processes to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws as well as company policies and standards.
  • Provide ad-hoc support as necessary.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Experience:

  • Significant sourcing experience with a search firm or an in-house recruiting team.
  • Experience in developing and implementing sourcing strategies.
  • Proficient in candidate generation and research techniques.
  • Experience in screening resumes to align with qualifications.
  • Ability to approach passive candidates effectively.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, listening, writing, and presenting).
  • Strong LinkedIn recruiting skills for sourcing, pipelining, and talent identification.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills to expand our network of HR Partners, senior stakeholders, GM population, and Continent teams.
  • Robust analytical skills; capable of quickly assessing situations.
  • Adept at networking and relationship development.
  • Effective decision-making skills; able to select a course of action amidst uncertainty, ambiguity, or risk.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
