Position Overview

The Head of Sales Operations for WTW's Health, Wealth & Career (HWC) segment in Europe is responsible for steering the Sales Operations function. This role encompasses a variety of key responsibilities aimed at driving operational excellence and supporting growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with HWC Business and Sales Leaders across Europe, including the HWC Europe Leader, to provide tailored sales enablement support that aligns with growth objectives. This includes:
    • Conducting data analysis for cross-selling opportunities, market segmentation, and identifying potential growth areas.
    • Formulating sales strategies, setting goals, and supporting market entry initiatives.
    • Managing the sales pipeline, tracking leads, and forecasting sales outcomes.
    • Coordinating and monitoring sales campaigns.
  • Facilitate the adoption of global Sales Operations tools and processes within the HWC businesses in Europe.
  • Oversee the implementation and execution of standardized global processes for HWC in Europe, providing insights for future enhancements in key areas such as:
    • Account Planning – coordinating cross-business planning sessions for high-potential clients, identifying actionable steps, and reporting on progress.
    • Client Satisfaction – managing the net promoter score survey and conducting independent client review interviews.
    • Clients at Risk – identifying, tracking, and reporting on revenue scenarios that may be at risk.
  • Work closely with the HWC Global Sales Operations Leader to address the sales operations needs of HWC businesses in Europe and manage special projects as required.
  • Actively participate in the HWC Europe Commercial Council, collaborating with council members to advance Sales Operations initiatives.
  • Establish and nurture internal relationships with senior stakeholders, including HWC Europe Business and Sales Leaders.
  • Partner with Sales Operations teams in various European countries to ensure a cohesive approach where applicable.
  • Engage with HWC Sales Operations colleagues in other regions to promote global consistency and share best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for the development of new tools or enhancements to existing processes.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and fulfill people management responsibilities as necessary.
  • Represent the Sales Operations practice and WTW with professionalism and integrity.

Team Structure:

  • This position reports to the HWC Global Sales Operations Leader and has a dotted line reporting relationship to the Head of Sales Operations for Europe.
  • The role collaborates with Sales Operations colleagues in various countries, who report to the Head of Sales Operations for Europe.
  • There is a corresponding role for the Risk & Broking Europe business, and these positions will work closely together across Europe to ensure collective success.
