Mental Health Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Wellbeing Service as a Relief Worker. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with mental health challenges in our community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide relief cover for our Wellbeing Service, ensuring continuity of support for our clients.
- Develop and deliver a district-wide programme of recovery and maintenance-focused activities and groups, promoting mental wellbeing and resilience.
- Facilitate practical support groups for mental health recovery, either at our HQ or in other locations, using digital platforms when necessary.
- Support colleagues on shift, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
- Cover shifts on various days, evenings, and weekends, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Experience working with adults who have or have had mental health challenges in a mental health setting.
- Excellent IT skills, with proficiency in digital platforms and tools.
- Proven communication and organisational skills, with the ability to engage and involve people in their recovery journey.
- Understanding of current mental health issues and the effectiveness of talking therapies and group sessions.
