About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our mental health team at Creative Support. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support to individuals with mental health needs, enabling them to live independently and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit service users in their own homes or other settings to provide practical and emotional support
- Assist with daily tasks, such as completing forms and setting up bank accounts
- Build trusting relationships with service users and their families
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to develop and implement individual support plans
- Provide support and guidance to service users to help them manage their mental health and well-being
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience of working in the care and support sector (desirable)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends
