Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our dynamic team at Creative Support. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to individuals with mental health needs, enabling them to live independently and achieve their goals.

About the Role:
  • Provide person-centred support to service users, building trusting relationships and promoting positive mental health recovery.
  • Work collaboratively with the service user, their family, and other professionals to develop and implement individual support plans.
  • Offer practical and emotional support to enable service users to manage their daily lives, including assistance with benefits, housing, and other essential tasks.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.
Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and colleagues.
  • Experience of working in the care and support sector, with a strong understanding of mental health needs and recovery principles.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of service users.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
