Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Bradford Council. As a key member of our Wellbeing Service, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health challenges.

About the Role:
  • Provide relief cover for our Wellbeing Service, working across days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Facilitate practical support groups for mental health recovery, promoting independence and resilience.
  • Support colleagues on shift, ensuring a collaborative and effective team environment.
  • Cover shifts, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our service users.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with adults who have or have had mental health challenges in a mental health setting.
  • Excellent IT skills, with the ability to engage and involve people in ways that promote positive changes in their lives.
  • Proven communication and organisational skills, with a strong understanding of current issues faced by people with mental health issues.
