About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our mental health team as a Support Worker. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support to service users, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their mental wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with service users, building trusting relationships and providing emotional support in accordance with their individual support plans.
  • Visit service users in their own homes or in other settings, offering practical support to enable them to live independently.
  • Assist service users with daily tasks, such as completing housing benefit forms, setting up bank accounts, and paying utility bills.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a comprehensive and person-centred approach to support.
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and support individuals with mental health needs.
  • Experience of working in the care and support sector, although not essential, as we provide full training and support.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
