Job Role Overview

Creative Support is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Professional to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Floating Support team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support services to individuals with mental health needs. Our team works across Bradford, ensuring that staff offer positive mental health recovery support and housing-related support in a personalized way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with service users, building trusting therapeutic relationships and providing practical support to enable them to live independently
  • Visit service users in their own homes or in other settings, offering emotional support in accordance with individual support plans
  • Collaborate with the team to provide a comprehensive support service, addressing the diverse needs of service users
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a supportive, proactive approach
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle (desirable)
